Now in its' 19th year, the scholarship program will award seven students $2,000 each to support their higher education endeavors. The scholarship, renamed last year in memory of Roberta Reeves, a long-serving member of Hughes Federal Credit Union's Board of Directors, continues to honor her legacy in the Tucson community.
To qualify, you must be a high school senior graduating in 2024, entering a college, university, trade school, or certification program, and be a primary member of Hughes.
All high school seniors are encouraged to apply!
Step 1: Write a 500-750 word essay or produce a 1-2 minute original video submission on the topic "Describe how technology is re-shaping your generation's personal finances." The video should be HD quality (720p or better) in horizontal format. The video will need to be uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo.
Step 2: Submit your essay or video on the application form.

Applications must be received by 11:59pm (Arizona) on Friday, March 15, 2024.
It is easy to join! All it takes is $50 in your Main Share Savings account.
*Applicants must have a Main Share Savings account in their name at the Credit Union with a $50 par value share minimum balance. Applicants cannot be related to a Hughes employee or a Hughes Board member. The Credit Union will notify all applicants of the results. All applications received become the property of Hughes and will not be returned.
