Hughes Helps

Hughes Federal Credit Union believes in giving back to the community we serve through sponsorships and donations. Every year, Hughes looks to help numerous local organizations that are just as dedicated to improving the overall well-being of our community as we are with financial support, giveaway items, adult and youth financial education, and much more. Hughes has provided support to countless local organizations like the Tucson Medical Center Foundation, the AZ Financial Face-Off, Pima County JTED (Joint Technical Education District), United Way and the Community Food Bank.

If your organization or group would like to request a sponsorship or donation, please submit a request through our  sponsorship request form. Preference is given to organizations or charities that:

  • Promote youth and adult financial literacy
  • Focus on STEM (science, technology, engineering and math)
  • Provide business development opportunities

To ensure necessary review and processing time, requests must be received at least sixty (60) days prior to the requested support deadline.

NOTE: Hughes does not provide sponsorship or donations to individuals. Only verified organizations or groups making requests will be considered. (Special consideration will be given to first responders and military.) Submitting a request does not ensure its fulfillment. We receive far more requests for support than we are able to grant, and declining a request does not imply that the applicant organization is not valued or worthy of support.
