DATA ANALYST
Job Summary:
To function as an experienced team member to assist members, staff, and third parties with detailed aspects of business intelligence/data analytics and associated support for the Credit Union. Assist credit union members and other branches/departments with business intelligence and data analytics related actions. Design, develop, test, deploy and enhance custom databases, data structures, datasets, analytics dashboards, and reporting solutions. Utilizing agile development methodology, deliver high quality accurate and secure solutions in a timely and professional manner. Assist other IT teams as needed to support business intelligence and data analytics needs, both member and staff facing. Provide backup support to other team members within the department. Assist with onboarding, training and mentoring of new team members.
Salary: $90K-$130K DOE

Daily Responsibilities:
- Lead the designing, developing, testing, deploying, and enhancing custom databases, data structures, datasets, analytics dashboards, and reporting solutions.
- Oversee the gathering and analysis user requirements to define solution objectives.
- Coordinate implementation of system features and functionality to improve accuracy, user experience or efficiency.
- Conduct code reviews and approvals.
- Administration of the data warehouse, development environments, and development tools.
- Identify and coordinate the mitigation of technical debt.
- Assist with updating team processes and procedures.
- Lead project planning and management using Agile methodologies.
- Onboard, train and mentor team members.
- Actively pursue new developments relating to industry standards, best practices, trends, and new technologies. Make recommendations which facilitate the continued maturity of the IT Business Intelligence/Data Analytics team.
- Assist the IT Application Development manager with project prioritizations, planning and assignments.
- Assist members and staff with business intelligence and data analytics related matters.
Preferred Skills:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Math or related major; or equivalent certification or work experience.
- Minimum five – seven years of experience:
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining SQL server databases, tables, stored procedures, views, jobs and SSIS packages.
- developing and maintaining reports using SAP Crystal Reports
- developing and maintaining data warehouses or data lakes
- working with business intelligence tools such as Microsoft Power BI, SAP Business Objects and Salesforce Tableau
- Experience with the following preferred:
- DTS/ETL
- IBM DB2
- Oracle
- Snowflake
- Apache Kafka
- MuleSoft AnyPoint
- Azure DevOps and Git
- Agile software development
