Important Update

We are excited to announce our partnership with a new credit card processor to better serve your VISA credit card needs. With this new partnership, we want to inform current credit card holders of upcoming changes.

What you need to know:

  • Primary cardholders will not receive a new card until their current card expires.
  • Secondary cardholders and authorized users will receive their new replacement card by March 24, 2025. Current cards may be used until March 24, 2025.
  • For security reasons, secondary cardholders and authorized users will receive a new card with their own individual card number, Card Verifications Value/Code (CVV/CVC - three-digit number on the back of the card), and expiration date. Activation is required on the new card on or after March 24, 2025.
  •  If you plan to use your card at any ATM, you will be required to use a Personal Identification Number (PIN). You can select your unique PIN during the card activation process or call later to select your PIN.
  • All members currently enrolled in eStatements for their credit card will need to re-enroll in eStatements on or after March 24, 2025.

Change Your Credit Card PIN Easily!

Members can now easily change their existing Credit Card PIN. Just follow these quick steps:

Call to Change Your PIN:

  • Call (866) 631-3197

Verify Your Identity:

  • Call from the phone number linked to your account.
  • Enter your 16 digit credit card number.
  • Enter the 2 digit birth month and 2 digit birth year for the Primary Cardholder (MMYY).

Confirm Card Details:

  • Enter the 4 digit expiration date (MMYY).
  • Enter 3 digit CVV.
  • Enter last 4 digits of Primary Cardholder's SSN.

Set Your New PIN:

  • Follow the prompts to enter and confirm your new PIN.

NOTE: The process will end if your phone number, SSN, or card details do not match our records. A PIN can only be changed once in a 24-hour period.

You may join Hughes Federal Credit Union if you:

  • Live, work, worship or attend school in Tucson
  • Are employed by one of our Select Employer Groups
  • Have a family / household member who is a member of Hughes: Family member – a spouse, child, sister/brother, parent, grandparent, grandchild, stepparent, stepchild, stepsister/brother, or adopted child. A household member is a person living in the same residence sharing household expenses.

To set up automatic payments, you’ll need to complete and sign the  Credit Card Automatic Payment Authorization Form then mail, fax, or drop it off at  any of the seven Hughes locations

No, your interest rate will not be changing.
Primary cardholders will do nothing. Since your card number is the same, there is no need to make any updates to any recurring payment providers. Secondary cardholders and authorized users will receive a new card with their own individual card number, Card Verifications Value/Code (CVV/CVC—three-digit number on the back of the card), and expiration date, because you will have a new card number you would need to reset any preauthorized, or recurring payments tied to their current card number.
No. Your due date will stay the same.
Yes. The new address will be included on the statement. If you pay this bill online, you will need to update the mailing address to P.O. Box 2711, Omaha, NE 68103-2711 on or after March 24, 2025 to ensure that your payment reaches the processor by your due date.
Contact the provider of this service (e.g., another bank or bill pay service) to ensure there is no interruption in automated payments.
You cannot access statements/history online after March 24, 2025, so we recommend saving the statements to your computer or printing hard copies before this date.

Penalty pricing will apply if we do not receive the required minimum monthly payment by the payment due date for two (2) consecutive months. The new increased rate of 16.99% APR (including any introductory rate and promotional rate) will apply on any existing and future purchase and cash advance balances. After the account is paid as agreed according to the terms of the Credit Card Agreement for six (6) consecutive months, the rate will be reduced back to the current prevailing APR.
