Hughes Federal Credit Union has made a $15,000 donation to the Tucson Wildlife Center to support expanding medical facilities, enhancing rehabilitation programs, and increasing education and outreach efforts.
To date, Hughes Federal Credit Union has contributed $33,000 to the Tucson Wildlife Center, aimed at supporting the center's efforts in the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of Southern Arizona's native wildlife.
This donation comes through the credit union's affinity debit card program, featuring the "Little Prowler" debit card, designed in partnership with acclaimed local artist Diana Madaras.
The "Little Prowler" debit card is one of several designs offered through Hughes Federal Credit Union's affinity debit card program, which allows members to support various community causes. For every card issued, $5 is donated to a designated nonprofit organization.
“It’s so rewarding seeing how our members use the affinity debit card program to support organizations such as the Tucson Wildlife Center,” said Elisa Ross, vice president of Marketing. “It reflects a shared value system where community welfare and environmental conservation are emphasized. We are grateful for the opportunity to facilitate such meaningful contributions, reinforcing our commitment to the community we serve."
