As part of Credit Unions for Kids, Hughes Federal Credit Union has donated a record-breaking $37,000 to the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and Tucson Medical Center for Children.

Hughes Federal Credit Union has donated a record-breaking $37,000 in cash to the Children's Miracle Network Hospital, thanks to a successful yearlong campaign of selling candy bars at their seven Tucson-area branches and collecting donations from members and Hughes employees.

This donation was generated as part of Hughes' support for Credit Unions for Kids, a fundraising vehicle for members of the credit union movement. Hughes has supported Credit Unions for Kids since it's inception in 1996 and in recent years Hughes has participated in its annual radiothon hosted by 94.9 MIXfm.

Hughes Federal Credit Union believes in giving back to the community it serves with a mission to always make a positive difference in each member’s financial life. The annual support for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and TMC for Children is made possible by Hughes staff and employees. In 2017, Hughes provided more than $127,600 in support to over 100 different local organizations within the Tucson community, thanks to the Hughes Helps Program.
